About Oxfordshire-ARG

The Oxfordshire Amphibian & Reptile Group

Oxfordshire-ARG has been set up to co-ordinate the recording of reptiles and amphibians and thus produce information to help conserve them. Amphibians and reptiles are both familiar but somewhat neglected groups of animals. If we are going to be able to make informed decisions about any species we need to know something about them, where they are and how many there are. Thus we are keen to hear from anyone with an interest in these animals.

Do you have any records, current or historical, that will help fill in a few more dots on the map of Oxfordshire? Perhaps you could undertake a survey of a local area. We need people who can check out unconfirmed, interesting or notable sightings. We will provide you with all the information you need.

There is no charge to join the group. Information and news updates will be sent to all those who register. Currently there are over thirty members. Refer to the contacts page for ways to get in touch.
